Valissa Scott as Dame Henrietta Hawkins

Valissa graduated from Drama College with an HND in Drama & Theatre Studies from Langside College. She worked for many years mainly singing and was part of Scotland's prestigious gospel choir 'Soul Nation' supporting many great artists - Tom Jones, Lulu, Deacon Blue, Wet Wet Wet, Mica Paris & Susan Boyle.

Previous roles include: Deadly Nightshade/Fairy Good in Halo Arts production of Sleeping Betty, Margaret in Stuart Hay Productions of The Journey Back (SEC Armadillo), Jemima Puddleduck in Shoogalie Road Productions Tour of Beatrix Potter, Margaret Morrison in Arts Enigma touring production of The Provy Wummin, Cassie in The Real Glesga Dance Mums and Babs in Rally Roon the Rangers (Glasgow Pavilion).

Valissa is also a drama teacher for Fever Pitch Associates and enjoys teaching stars of the future.

Valissa is absolutely delighted to be part of Treasure Island for Imagine Theatre this year at the amazing Glasgow Pavilion and cannot wait for audiences to see it!
